Panasonic Toughbook CF-28

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-28 definitely improves on the great design of the CF-27 line of laptops.  This laptop solved some of the weakness' that the CF-27 toughbook displayed.

The power on switch moved to the front of the laptop.  This solved the problem of the sliding power switch breaking if the unit took a hit on the side.  It also allows for there to be a key lock placed on the switch giving a nice upgrade to this units protection and security.

Keep in mind that even though the CF-27 was great the CF-28 is even better.  It has a nicer color combination with silver and black versus the CF-27s straight black color.  You would not be embarrassed opening this laptop in public.  But putting the aesthetics aside this unit is just as tough.  With all the same tough features associated with the CF-27.

Still water proof and vibration proof so mounting this baby in your vehicle or boat is a no brainer.  In addition the touch screen has been improved and an option is even a daylight readable screen.  Not a bad option.

You can still find this model for sale.  The Panasonic Toughbook CF-28 PIII 1 Ghz with internal wireless is still being sold.  Not a bad deal.
