Panasonic Toughbook CF-27

What can we say about his rugged laptop.  The CF-27 definitely dominates in toughness.  Even though this model is no longer made and at best was sold with an Intel Pentium III 500 mhz processor.  We still find that sales of this model even the slower Intel Pentium II 300 mhz are brisk.

If you are looking to have a touch screen laptop for your car or boat this unit can withstand the vibration, heat, cold and occasional splash of water.  That's right is has water tight seals which make sprays of water no problem.  The hard drive is encased in a rubber which helps with vibrations.

It is very interesting to find out some of the various uses of these laptops.  Mostly used in service trucks, Police vehicles and boats.  But it never stops amazing me how diverse the uses actually are.
